I love this. I see a lot of people on Tumblr complaining about not losing 10 pounds in one day, and it’s just ridiculous! First of all, that isn’t healthy nor possible. But second of all, it’s a perfect example of an unreal goal. So many people get really upset when they don’t reach their goal weight for the week or whatever, but instead of mistreating your body more, how about adjusting your expectations? You cannot expect radical things when it comes to weight loss or getting fit or healthy or whatever. It’s not healthy and shouldn’t be done. The faster the weight comes off, the more likely it is that you’ll regain it.
This is just something that I think everyone should think about, and I hope it made sense.
